On the reaction day the stock moved 2.1 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 2.2 pts less than its Auto Components & Equipments peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Consolidated revenue for the September quarter rose 18.6% to Rs 1,831.06 million, but profit after tax fell 28.5% to Rs 147.42 million as costs increased. Half-year revenue was Rs 3,527.82 million and profit after tax Rs 270.39 million, down 33.8%. Operating cash flow remained positive at Rs 97.55 million but dropped sharply. The auditors gave an unmodified review. The board also granted 130,000 employee stock options at Rs 334.90.
Revenue growth is positive, but weaker margins, profit and cash flow may hurt sentiment. The option grant adds modest dilution risk.
