On the reaction day the stock moved 9.8 pts less than its Plywood Boards/ Laminates peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
The board approved splitting each Rs 5 share into five Rs 1 shares and changing the capital clause of the company constitution. It needs shareholder approval by postal ballot and regulatory clearances. Q2 FY27 unaudited revenue was Rs 340.52 crore, up 16.5%, and net profit Rs 42.33 crore, up 13.4%. H1 revenue rose 15.9% to Rs 666.99 crore and profit rose 38% to Rs 90.48 crore. A new laminate plant started production on September 22, 2026.
Lower price may attract retail investors after approval, while profit growth is positive. The split adds no value; the record date is pending.
