Sudarshan Chemical Industries' Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 5 per share (250% on face value of Rs. 2) for FY 2025-26, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM. The company reported strong standalone profit of Rs. 290.3 crore, more than doubling from Rs. 140.9 crore in the previous year. Consolidated revenue surged to Rs. 9,787.2 crore (vs Rs. 3,345.6 crore) due to the Heubach Group acquisition completed in March 2025, though consolidated profit declined to Rs. 40.8 crore from Rs. 60.3 crore. The Board also approved appointments of PwC as Internal Auditor and Ashwini Kedar Joshi as Cost Auditor for FY 2026-27.
The 250% dividend payout signals management confidence in the company's cash flow position. Despite lower consolidated profit due to integration costs, the healthy standalone earnings justify the dividend recommendation, which should support near-term positive sentiment for shareholders.
