Sudarshan Chemical Industries reported standalone revenue of ₹2,396.7 crore for FY26, down 5.4% from ₹2,533.9 crore in FY25. However, standalone profit after tax surged 106% to ₹290.3 crore (vs ₹140.9 crore), driven by ₹115.6 crore foreign exchange gains and lower raw material costs. Consolidated revenue jumped nearly 3x to ₹9,787.2 crore due to the Heubach acquisition completed in March 2025, though consolidated PAT declined to ₹22.3 crore (vs ₹55.9 crore) due to integration costs of ₹114.6 crore and higher finance costs. The Board recommended a 250% dividend (₹5 per share) and appointed PwC as internal auditor for FY27. A ₹1,196.3 crore gain on bargain purchase from the Heubach acquisition was recorded in other comprehensive income.
The standalone PAT growth of 106% significantly exceeds the 25% threshold, indicating strong operational performance despite revenue decline. The Heubach acquisition is still in integration phase, compressing consolidated profitability. The large OCI gain and dividend declaration are positive signals for shareholders.
