Sudarshan Chemical Industries reported strong FY25 results, with standalone revenue from operations growing ~18% to ₹2,53,395 lakhs and profit before exceptional items & tax jumping ~67% to ₹21,235 lakhs versus ₹12,691 lakhs last year. Reported standalone PAT fell to ₹14,097 lakhs from ₹33,512 lakhs, mainly because FY24 had a one-time ₹31,510 lakh gain from sale of Pune land. On a consolidated basis, revenue surged ~32% to ₹3,34,558 lakhs, boosted by the March 2025 acquisition of Heubach Group's global pigment business by subsidiary Sudarshan Europe B.V. for ~€152 million. The board recommended a final dividend of ₹4.50 per share (225% on face value of ₹2). The statutory auditor issued an unmodified opinion on standalone results but a modified opinion on consolidated results, with the company attaching a Statement of Impact on Audit Qualifications.
The Heubach acquisition has dramatically scaled up Sudarshan's consolidated business, nearly doubling Q4 revenue, though it also brought exceptional costs of ~₹10,363 lakhs and a modified audit opinion that investors should watch. Underlying operating performance (excluding one-offs) is healthy, the 225% dividend is attractive, and the ₹99,500 lakh fund raise plus ₹158,877 lakh in long-term borrowings have strengthened the balance sheet to support the new global footprint.
