Sukhjit Starch & Chemicals reported standalone revenue of Rs. 1,425.68 crore for FY26, down 4% from Rs. 1,486.19 crore in FY25. Profit after tax declined to Rs. 26.09 crore from Rs. 39.48 crore in the previous year, a drop of about 34%. The company recommended a dividend of Rs. 1 per share (20%) subject to shareholder approval. The auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. The company also approved re-appointment of Executive Director Madan Gopal Sharma and shift of registered office within the same tehsil.
The stock may face pressure as both revenue and profitability declined year-on-year. However, the clean audit opinion and dividend payout signal management confidence. Investors should monitor if the revenue decline continues in FY27.
