Sukhjit Starch reported H1 FY26 (Apr-Sep 2025) standalone revenue of Rs 679.88 Cr, down about 9.8% from Rs 753.70 Cr a year earlier. Profit after tax slumped to Rs 8.82 Cr from Rs 26.24 Cr, a fall of around 66%. Q2 standalone revenue was Rs 312.68 Cr with PAT of Rs 4.07 Cr (EPS Rs 1.30). Consolidated figures were similar - H1 revenue Rs 691.63 Cr and PAT Rs 9.31 Cr. PBT margin compressed sharply to about 1.5% from 4.6% YoY as raw material costs stayed heavy. Auditor Y K Sud and Co issued an unmodified limited review report.
Sharp earnings fall on weak margins may worry investors. H1 PAT almost one-third of last year despite similar revenue base suggests pricing or cost pressure.
