Sukhjit Starch reported strong Q2 FY27 results. Standalone revenue rose 30.6% YoY to Rs 408.49 Cr, with PAT jumping from Rs 4.07 Cr to Rs 15.80 Cr. HY revenue grew 18% to Rs 803.61 Cr and PAT surged 221% to Rs 28.36 Cr. EPS for HY stood at Rs 9.08 versus Rs 2.82 last year. EBITDA margin expanded to about 8.2% from 5.8%. However, operating cash flow turned negative at minus Rs 84.81 Cr in HY due to a large inventory build-up. Maize Processing remains the key segment.
Strong profit growth and margin expansion are positive, but negative operating cash flow from inventory build-up is a watch point for working capital.
