On the reaction day the stock moved 0.7 pts more than Nifty 100 and 1.3 pts more than its Pharmaceuticals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Sun Pharma's board will meet on 12 October 2026 to consider issuing listed, rated, unsecured, redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis, in one or more tranches. The aggregate amount will not exceed INR 15,000 Crore. NCDs are debt instruments that pay fixed interest and are repaid at maturity.
Up to INR 15,000 Crore to be raised via private NCD placement. Debt funding, no equity dilution. Board approval pending on 12 Oct.
