Sunflag Iron & Steel reported its unaudited Q3 FY26 results (quarter ended December 31, 2025). Standalone revenue from operations was Rs. 942.47 crore vs Rs. 892 crore in Q3 FY25, a growth of about 5.7%. Standalone profit after tax (PAT) for Q3 FY26 stood at Rs. 59.10 crore. For the 9-month period (April–December 2025), standalone PAT was Rs. 155.71 crore compared to Rs. 118.97 crore in 9M FY25, a growth of around 31% year-on-year. The company recognised an exceptional item charge of Rs. 8.70 crore in Q3 FY26 arising from the government's new Labour Codes notified on November 21, 2025, which increased gratuity and leave liability. The Board also re-appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers Services LLP as Internal Auditors for FY 2026-27. Statutory auditor Lodha & Co LLP issued an unmodified review opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Strong 9M performance with PAT growing roughly 31% year-on-year is positive for shareholders, though the Rs. 8.70 crore one-time Labour Codes charge is a modest near-term drag. Clean unmodified auditor opinion and continued PwC oversight should support investor confidence; the result is broadly constructive for the stock.
