Supershakti Metaliks reported standalone revenue of Rs 70,510 lakhs for FY26, down 4.3% from Rs 73,704 lakhs in FY25. Standalone net profit fell 31% to Rs 857 lakhs from Rs 1,243 lakhs, driven by lower revenue and an exceptional charge of Rs 88.57 lakhs due to implementation of new Labour Codes. On consolidated basis, net profit more than doubled to Rs 2,767 lakhs from Rs 1,290 lakhs, boosted by share of profit from associate Giridhan Metal Pvt Ltd. EPS declined on standalone basis to Rs 7.44 from Rs 10.78. Operating cash flow turned negative at Rs 362 lakhs against positive Rs 4,838 lakhs in prior year. Auditors issued unmodified (clean) opinion. Board recommended final dividend of Rs 0.50 per share.
The standalone revenue and profit decline reflects challenging market conditions in the iron and steel sector. However, the strong consolidated profit growth from the associate investment and clean audit opinion provide some comfort. Negative operating cash flow is a concern that investors should monitor.
