Supertex Industries reported audited FY25 total income of Rs 7,359 lakhs, down from Rs 9,082 lakhs in FY24 — a decline of roughly 19%. Revenue from operations fell to Rs 7,340 lakhs from Rs 9,048 lakhs. The company posted a profit before tax of Rs 38 lakhs for the full year, but the Q4 FY25 quarter alone slipped into a loss at the PBT level (Rs -12 lakhs). The statutory auditor (S.M. Gupta & Co.) issued an unqualified (unmodified) opinion but flagged an Emphasis of Matter: Rs 11.12 lakhs of TDS and Rs 10.25 lakhs of provident fund dues remained unpaid during the year, on expenses of Rs 115.78 lakhs. The board also approved appointments of a new Secretarial Auditor (first 5-year term, FY26–FY30) and re-appointed the Internal and Cost Auditors for FY26. Operating cash flow remained positive at Rs 420 lakhs, though the company repaid Rs 201 lakhs of borrowings.
The double-digit revenue drop and a quarterly loss are negatives for short-term sentiment, but the overall PAT stayed marginally positive and operating cash flow held up. The unpaid TDS and PF dues flagged in the auditor's emphasis note are a minor governance red flag but do not affect the unqualified audit opinion, so a major stock reaction is unlikely. Existing shareholders should watch whether FY26 shows a revenue recovery.
