Supra Trends Ltd's Board approved the conversion of 1,01,20,000 convertible warrants into an equal number of fully paid equity shares of Rs. 10 each. The conversion was exercised at Rs. 7.50 per warrant (being 75% of the issue price), bringing in Rs. 7.59 crore to the company. The warrants were originally allotted in October 2024 at Rs. 10 each, with only 25% received then and the balance 75% paid now upon conversion. Out of 1,09,50,000 warrants originally allotted, 1,01,20,000 were converted while 8,30,000 lapsed due to non-exercise. Allotment was made to a mix of Promoter Group and Non-Promoter allottees.
Significant equity dilution as ~10.12 million new shares enter the market, increasing the company's share capital substantially. Non-promoter allottees like Venkata Sesha Reddy Mudimela and Vanteddu Lakshmi Priya Darshini each now hold 10.57% stake, which may put downward pressure on the stock price in the near term.
