Supreme Petrochem reported its Q1 FY26 results with standalone total income of ₹1,40,161 lakhs, down about 12% from ₹1,59,636 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Profit after tax fell to ₹8,092 lakhs from ₹12,195 lakhs, a drop of roughly 34% year-on-year, with EPS at ₹4.30 versus ₹6.49. On a sequential basis, both revenue and profit declined compared to Q4 FY25. Consolidated PAT was ₹8,205 lakhs (EPS ₹4.35) and includes the first contribution from newly acquired subsidiary Xmold Polymers. The company highlighted that pre-commissioning of its 70,000 TPA ABS project has begun, with commercial operations expected in Q2 FY26. Management also noted the company remains debt-free.
Weak Q1 print with both top line and bottom line contracting sharply year-on-year is likely to weigh on near-term sentiment. However, the upcoming ABS project ramp-up and a debt-free balance sheet provide some medium-term growth optionality for shareholders.
