Suraj Estate Developers' board approved its Q1 FY26 results on July 25, 2025, carrying an unmodified (clean) limited review opinion from auditor SKLR & Co. LLP. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations came in at ₹1,324.69 million, marginally lower than ₹1,336.73 million in Q1 FY25, while profit after tax fell sharply to ₹212.82 million from ₹301.34 million, a drop of about 29%. Profit before tax slipped to ₹284.79 million from ₹404.02 million as operating and project expenses eased but finance costs stayed high at ₹206.54 million. Standalone PAT declined to ₹237.72 million (₹324.73 million) and standalone EPS fell to ₹4.98 from ₹7.32. Net worth stood at ₹9,067 million (standalone) and ₹9,027 million (consolidated).
Earnings came in weaker year-on-year with both revenues and profits contracting, and profit margins compressed meaningfully, which is likely to weigh negatively on the stock in the near term. The clean audit opinion provides no governance red flags, but the sharp YoY drop in PAT and EPS is the key concern for shareholders.
