Suraj Products Limited reported audited standalone revenue of Rs 30,378.67 Lacs for FY26, down from Rs 32,637.27 Lacs in FY25, representing approximately 7% revenue decline. Standalone profit after tax declined to Rs 1,884.79 Lacs from Rs 2,143.39 Lacs in the previous year, a decrease of about 12%. EPS stood at Rs 16.53 compared to Rs 18.80 in FY25. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 2.25 per equity share (22.5% on face value of Rs 10). The statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated financials. Borrowings were significantly reduced, with short-term borrowings down from Rs 1,623.13 Lacs to Rs 224.37 Lacs. The company has a foreign subsidiary Suraj Iron & Steel Manufacturers-L.L.C-S.P.C. which has not started operations yet.
Revenue and profit declined year-on-year, indicating a challenging year. However, the clean audit opinion and significant debt reduction are positive signs. The dividend declaration provides some return to shareholders despite lower profitability.
