Sarvottam Finvest Limited, a Kolkata-based NBFC, reported its unaudited Q3 FY26 results (quarter ended December 31, 2025). Total income for the quarter rose 48.6% year-on-year to Rs. 43.13 lakhs (vs Rs. 29.03 lakhs in Q3 FY25), driven mainly by higher interest income. However, the company posted a net loss of Rs. 7.68 lakhs in Q3 FY26 (compared to a Rs. 25.83 lakh loss in Q3 FY25), pulled down by a Rs. 19.35 lakh impairment on financial instruments. For the nine months ended December 2025, the company swung to a net profit of Rs. 5.56 lakhs from a Rs. 51.85 lakh loss in the prior-year period, even as cumulative total income dipped to Rs. 121.35 lakhs from Rs. 139.04 lakhs. EPS for 9M FY26 stood at Rs. 0.07 versus a Rs. (0.69) loss. Statutory auditor D.C. Dharewa & Co. issued an unmodified limited review report.
The swing to nine-month profitability and strong Q3 revenue growth are encouraging, but recurring quarterly losses, ongoing impairment charges on financial instruments, and a very small scale of operations suggest the company is still in a turnaround phase. Stock reaction is likely to be muted; investors should watch for sustained profit growth and improving asset quality.
