Suryalata Spinning Mills reported strong FY2026 results with standalone PAT of Rs 2,894 lakh vs Rs 982 lakh in FY2025, a near 3x increase. Consolidated PAT rose to Rs 3,546 lakh from Rs 1,537 lakh. Revenue from operations was broadly flat at around Rs 47,199 lakh (standalone) and Rs 48,380 lakh (consolidated), indicating significant margin expansion. The Board recommended a 20% dividend (Rs 2 per share) for non-promoter equity shareholders, while promoters voluntarily waived their dividend. An Independent Director (Gautam Damodar Sawang, a retired IPS officer and former DGP of Andhra Pradesh) was appointed, along with re-appointments of internal and cost auditors. Statutory auditors issued an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated financials.
The near-tripling of profit on flat revenue is a strong positive signal of operational efficiency and margin improvement. The promoters waiving dividend while paying non-promoters signals confidence. Clean audit with unmodified opinion supports financial reliability.
