On March 6, 2026, the Board of Suven Life Sciences approved the allotment of 3,17,68,764 equity shares to Jasti Property and Equity Holdings Private Limited (acting as sole trustee of Jasti Family Trust), a promoter group entity, upon conversion of an equal number of fully paid warrants. The shares were issued at Rs. 134 per share (face value Rs. 1, premium Rs. 133), for a total consideration of about Rs. 425.70 crores, with 100% of the money already received. As a result, the company's paid-up equity capital increased from 23,19,51,819 to 26,37,20,583 shares, a rise of roughly 13.7%. Only one investor, the promoter group entity, participated in this preferential allotment.
Existing public shareholders face a dilution of about 13.7% in their stake, as the new shares go entirely to the promoter group. On the positive side, this strengthens the promoter's holding and brings in fresh capital of around Rs. 426 crores into the company, signaling continued promoter commitment.
