Suzlon Energy Ltd reported strong audited financial results for FY2025-26 (year ended March 31, 2026). Consolidated revenue from operations jumped 53.7% to Rs 16,679.11 Crore from Rs 10,851.32 Crore in the previous year. Net profit after tax grew 52.7% to Rs 3,163.39 Crore versus Rs 2,071.63 Crore. Basic EPS improved from Rs 1.51 to Rs 2.31. The company recorded exceptional gains of Rs 70 Crore on consolidated basis and Rs 1,178.40 Crore on standalone basis, primarily from settlement of financial liabilities and impairment reversals related to a wholly-owned subsidiary. Auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. A Scheme of Arrangement was implemented in April 2026, resulting in restatement of prior year comparative figures to adjust Rs 18,418.43 Crore debit balance in retained earnings against reserves.
The results reflect robust operational performance with over 50% growth in both revenue and profit, driven by strong wind energy segment performance. However, the large exceptional gains and prior period restatements mean investors should focus on underlying operational profitability rather than headline net profit numbers.
