Swastika Investmart, a broking and merchant banking firm, reported weaker Q3 FY26 results. Standalone revenue from operations fell to Rs. 2,794.78 lakhs from Rs. 3,279.23 lakhs a year ago, while nine-month revenue dropped to Rs. 8,152.22 lakhs from Rs. 10,893.83 lakhs, a roughly 25% decline. Standalone profit after tax for Q3 fell to Rs. 356.63 lakhs (from Rs. 607.80 lakhs) and for nine months to Rs. 1,104.81 lakhs (from Rs. 1,942.64 lakhs), down about 43%. Consolidated numbers were similarly weak, with nine-month PAT of Rs. 1,025.20 lakhs versus Rs. 1,962.02 lakhs last year. Q3 standalone EPS stood at Rs. 1.77 versus Rs. 4.11 last year. The auditor, Fadnis & Gupte LLP, gave an unqualified limited review report.
Sharp year-on-year decline in both revenue and profit, driven mainly by weaker broking and merchant banking income, is negative for shareholders and may weigh on the stock in the near term. The small acquisition of a 25% stake in Nyati Holdings for just Rs. 25,000 is too small to offset the weak operating performance.
