Syschem (India) Limited reported audited standalone results for FY25 with revenue from operations rising sharply to ₹386.23 crore from ₹233.48 crore in FY24, a growth of about 65%. However, profit before tax fell steeply to ₹1.01 crore from ₹4.11 crore, and profit after tax dropped to ₹46.01 lakh from ₹2.76 crore, reflecting heavy margin compression despite the strong top-line growth. The company raised ₹33.87 crore via a preferential issue in February-March 2025, partly deployed for working capital. Total financial indebtedness remains zero with no loan defaults reported, and cash and bank balances improved to ₹2.14 crore from ₹9.57 lakh a year ago.
Strong revenue growth signals business expansion, but the sharp drop in profit and negative operating cash flow (₹10.09 crore used in operations) suggest cost pressures and working-capital strain, which may concern shareholders looking at profitability rather than just top-line numbers.
