Tamilnadu Steel Tubes Ltd filed its audited financial results for the quarter and full year ended March 31, 2025. Full-year revenue from operations stood at Rs. 7,149.54 lakhs, down about 3.2% from Rs. 7,385.80 lakhs in the previous year. Full-year profit after tax fell sharply to Rs. 9.96 lakhs from Rs. 28.33 lakhs, and Q4 FY25 actually slipped into a small loss of Rs. 4.62 lakhs at the PAT level. Operating cash flow improved meaningfully to Rs. 80.44 lakhs from Rs. 16.05 lakhs, and cash balance at year-end rose to Rs. 154.16 lakhs. The statutory auditor (DPV & Associates) issued a clean, unqualified opinion with no qualifications or emphasis of matter. Total borrowings increased to Rs. 873.40 lakhs (from Rs. 628.31 lakhs), pushing the debt-to-equity ratio closer to 1x.
Mixed for shareholders — topline shrank and bottomline was nearly wiped out, signalling pressure on margins, though stronger operating cash flow and a clean audit are mildly positive. The rising debt and weak Q4 profitability warrant close watch.
