Tanla Platforms reported Q1 FY26 results on July 24, 2025. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations rose modestly to Rs. 1,04,065.57 lakhs from Rs. 1,00,220.48 lakhs in Q1 FY25 (about 4% YoY growth), while net profit declined to Rs. 11,840.58 lakhs from Rs. 14,122.30 lakhs (about 16% YoY drop). Consolidated EPS stood at Rs. 8.82. On a standalone basis, revenue fell sharply to Rs. 16,692.18 lakhs from Rs. 23,992.63 lakhs YoY, but standalone profit after tax jumped to Rs. 5,227.10 lakhs from Rs. 1,702.43 lakhs. The auditor M/s MSKA & Associates issued a clean (unmodified) limited review report. The board also noted a buyback of 20 lakh shares at Rs. 875 each, worth up to Rs. 17,500 lakhs, approved by shareholders on July 17, 2025. Merger of subsidiary Gamooga Softtech with Karix Mobile is under way.
Mixed quarter: consolidated profit dipped despite slight revenue growth, mainly because the year-ago quarter had an unusually high base. The Rs. 175 crore buyback at Rs. 875 per share is a positive signal for shareholders and should support the stock price. Standalone numbers alone are not representative as most of Tanla's business runs through subsidiaries.
