Consolidated revenue was Rs 6,099.75 crore in Q2, up 6.5% year on year, but total profit fell 19.4% to Rs 183.21 crore. H1 revenue rose 6.5% to Rs 12,059.60 crore, while profit declined 33.4% to Rs 373.35 crore. H1 operating cash flow rose to Rs 953.64 crore. One-off costs were Rs 41.44 crore, and telecom tax demands left a Rs 7,496.69 crore contingent liability.
Revenue growth and cash flow are positive, but lower profit, one-off costs and the large telecom tax claim may weigh on sentiment.
