Tata Communications Q1 FY27 results: consolidated revenue grew 10.5% YoY to Rs 6,583 cr, driven by Data Services up 11.3% and Digital Portfolio up 17.1%. Normalised EBITDA rose 12.7% to Rs 1,281 cr. However, reported PAT fell 43.9% to Rs 130 cr due to Rs 106 cr in exceptional charges covering staff cost optimisation, a fire at a co-located data centre, and a contractual obligation provision. Auditor S.R. Batliboi gave an unmodified review opinion but flagged Rs 7,514 cr AGR-related contingent liability from DoT. Next Gen Platforms grew 31.3% YoY.
Topline growth healthy and digital momentum strong, but bottomline hit by one-time charges. AGR demand of Rs 7,514 cr remains a key overhang to track.
