TCS reported standalone and consolidated financial results for FY26 (year ended March 31, 2026). Consolidated revenue from operations grew to Rs. 2,67,021 crore from Rs. 2,55,324 crore in the prior year, while profit for the year increased to Rs. 49,454 crore from Rs. 48,797 crore. EPS stood at Rs. 136.01 compared to Rs. 134.19 last year. The Board recommended a Final Dividend of Rs. 31 per equity share (face value Rs. 1 each), subject to shareholder approval at the 31st AGM. Including the interim dividend of Rs. 79 per share already paid, total dividend for FY26 is Rs. 110 per share, down from Rs. 126 per share in FY25. The auditors issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.
The recommended final dividend of Rs. 31 per share provides a modest cash return to shareholders. However, the total annual dividend of Rs. 110 per share represents a reduction from Rs. 126 last year, which may be viewed as a cautious signal by income-focused investors, though the company continues to maintain strong profitability and cash generation.
