TCS reported consolidated revenue of ₹2,67,021 crore for FY2026, up 4.6% from ₹2,55,324 crore in the previous year. Profit after tax grew 1.3% to ₹49,454 crore from ₹48,797 crore. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹31 per share, bringing total dividend for the year to ₹110 per share (down from ₹126 last year). The auditors B S R & Co. LLP issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial statements. Notable exceptional items include restructuring expenses of ₹1,388 crore, statutory impact of new Labour Codes of ₹2,128 crore, and a provision of ₹1,010 crore towards a legal claim from Computer Sciences Corporation (US court case). TCS completed major acquisitions including ListEngage Midco and Coastal Cloud Holdings during the year.
TCS delivered steady revenue and profit growth with a clean audit opinion. The significant one-time provisions for legal claims and labour code changes are non-recurring. The lower total dividend payout compared to last year may disappoint income-focused investors, but underlying business remains strong.
