Tata Consumer Products reported strong full-year FY26 results with standalone revenue from operations at Rs 14,700 Crores, up 14.8% from Rs 12,802 Crores in FY25. Profit after tax grew significantly by 30.3% to Rs 1,635 Crores versus Rs 1,255 Crores previously. The company achieved operating margin expansion from 9.41% to 10.92% and net profit margin improved from 9.80% to 11.12%. EPS increased to Rs 16.52 from Rs 12.82. For Q4 alone, revenue grew 16% YoY to Rs 3,892 Crores with PAT of Rs 315 Crores up 14%. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs 10 per share (1000%). Exceptional items for the year include fair value gains on contingent consideration (Rs 56 Cr), profit on sale of non-core assets (Rs 35 Cr), offset by fair value losses (Rs 33 Cr), impairment of associate investment (Rs 21 Cr), asset write-down (Rs 34 Cr), and statutory impact of new labour codes (Rs 20 Cr). Statutory auditors Deloitte issued clean unmodified opinions on both standalone and consolidated results.
The results show healthy growth with PAT expanding faster than revenue, indicating margin improvement. The clean audit opinion and strong cash generation (Rs 1,451 Crores operating cash flow) are positive for shareholders. The debt-equity ratio remains very low at 0.04, providing financial flexibility.
