On the reaction day the stock moved 0.2 pts less than Nifty 100 and in line with its Passenger Cars & Utility Vehicles peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
S&P Global Ratings kept Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles at BBB but changed its outlook from Stable to Negative. Jaguar Land Rover stayed at BBB- with a Negative outlook, and TML Holdings moved to a Negative outlook. TML Holdings' senior unsecured notes were lowered from BBB to BBB-, while JLR's senior unsecured debt stayed at BBB-.
The ratings remain investment grade, but the negative outlook and notes downgrade may raise funding costs and pressure sentiment toward the stock and related debt.
