Tata Teleservices Maharashtra reported Q2 FY27 revenue of Rs 309.65 Cr, up 8% from Rs 286.13 Cr a year ago. H1 revenue rose to Rs 611.22 Cr. EBITDA improved to Rs 164.61 Cr with margin expanding to 41.73% from 35.10%. Net loss narrowed sharply to Rs 59.20 Cr in Q2 and Rs 131.35 Cr in H1, versus Rs 320.82 Cr and Rs 645.80 Cr last year, aided by absence of prior-year exceptional items like the AGR write-back. Net worth remains deeply negative at about negative Rs 18,933 Cr and current liabilities exceed current assets. Company continues to rely on a support letter from ultimate holding company Tata Sons.
Narrowed loss and better EBITDA margins are positives, but deeply negative net worth and dependence on Tata Sons support remain key concerns for shareholders.
