Tatia Global Vennture has informed the stock exchange that a civil suit (C.S. No. 156 of 2024) filed against it by a client, Dr. Karikkassery Thomas Joseph Rajan, has been dismissed as withdrawn. The plaintiff had originally sought Rs. 1,15,23,008 (about Rs. 1.15 crore) plus 18% annual interest from the company in the Madras High Court. The plaintiff himself sought permission to withdraw the suit, and the court passed the dismissal order on June 26, 2025. The company received the certified copy of the order on August 1, 2025 and promptly informed the exchange. This follows up on an earlier disclosure dated August 1, 2025 about the same matter.
This is a positive development for shareholders as the potential liability of around Rs. 1.15 crore plus interest has been removed. With the plaintiff withdrawing the suit voluntarily, the company faces no financial obligation from this case, reducing legal uncertainty around the stock.
