TeamLease reported Q1FY26 consolidated revenue of Rs 2,904 crores, up 12% year-on-year from Rs 2,594 crores, driven by headcount growth to 351,000 (up 5.8% YoY). Consolidated EBITDA grew 39% YoY to Rs 31 crores with margin expanding to 1.1% from 0.9%. Profit after tax rose 29% YoY to Rs 25 crores, translating to EPS of Rs 16. However, quarter-on-quarter performance was weak, with EBITDA and PAT both declining about 34% from Q4FY25 due to seasonality in EdTech. General Staffing revenue grew 11% YoY and Specialized Staffing grew 22% YoY (13% organic). Net free cash stood at Rs 300 crores. The auditor (S.R. Batliboi) issued an unqualified limited review report.
Positive year-on-year earnings momentum with revenue, EBITDA, and PAT all in double-digit growth supports steady business expansion. However, sharp sequential decline in profitability may raise near-term concerns about margin sustainability and seasonal volatility.
