Techindia Nirman Limited, which is currently undergoing a Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), disclosed the outcome of its 7th meeting of the Committee of Creditors held on June 2, 2025. The CoC noted the minutes of the 6th meeting and discussed the financial proposals received from the Resolution Applicant. Most importantly, the CoC approved a 90-day extension of the CIRP period with 100% majority. The company is being managed by Resolution Professional Vallabh Narayandas Sawana under the IBC framework.
For shareholders, this means the insolvency resolution is still ongoing with no final resolution plan approved yet. The 90-day extension signals that the process is taking longer than expected, which prolongs uncertainty. Existing equity holders typically face significant dilution or write-off risk in CIRP outcomes, and a delay extends this period of uncertainty without any clarity on the resolution plan.
