Positive quarter for Thacker and Company, with healthy growth in standalone continuing-operations profit and a strong contribution from associate companies driving consolidated earnings. The merger completion removes a subsidiary layer and could streamline reporting going forward. Minor near-term drag from discontinued operations loss is offset by core business growth.
