Thangamayil Jewellery reported its best-ever half-year performance with total sales of Rs. 3,260 Crs in H1 FY26, up 36% from Rs. 2,398 Crs a year ago. Retail sales grew 36% to Rs. 3,141 Crs, led by gold jewellery at Rs. 2,876 Crs (+35%) and non-gold products at Rs. 265 Crs (+42%). Gross profit surged 106% to Rs. 351 Crs with margin expanding 381 bps to 11.17%, and EBITDA more than doubled to Rs. 193 Crs (margin up 250 bps to 6.14%). Profit after tax jumped 167% to Rs. 104 Crs, with EPS rising to Rs. 33.53 from Rs. 14.26. The company completed its Chennai Metro expansion (first phase, Rs. 660 Crs outlay) and plans 10 more outlets in the second phase with Rs. 700 Crs spend. October 2025 clocked record monthly revenue of Rs. 1,032 Crs, up 178% YoY.
Strong results with broad-based growth across retail, gold and non-gold segments, plus significant margin expansion driven by better realisations. Aggressive expansion plans and record festive month sales signal positive momentum, though investors should monitor the rising cost base (expenses up ~79%) and planned leverage for Phase 2 expansion.
