The Hi-Tech Gears Ltd reported FY26 results showing flat revenue but sharp profit decline. Standalone revenue grew marginally by 1.5% to Rs 6,486.5 million, but PAT dropped 30% to Rs 330.54 million from Rs 473.78 million. Consolidated revenue declined slightly to Rs 8,885.64 million while PAT fell 48% to Rs 209.79 million. The company attributed part of the decline to Rs 15.5 million impact from new labour codes effective November 2025. Finance costs declined significantly, but operating margins compressed. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs 4 per share (40%). Statutory auditors issued unmodified opinions on both standalone and consolidated results.
The stock may face pressure as the nearly 50% decline in consolidated PAT and flat revenue growth signal margin compression and potential slowdown concerns, despite the dividend announcement.
