On the reaction day the stock moved 1.6 pts less than its Cement & Cement Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
The filing is parent UltraTech's Q2 FY27 earnings call, not a separate India Cements update. Management put India Cements earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation at about INR500 per tonne; kiln upgrades and shutdowns should push this toward INR1,000 by January-March 2028. UltraTech expects group net debt at less than one times operating earnings by March; fuel costs stayed high and fuel contract details were withheld.
India Cements upgrades could nearly double operating profit per tonne by early 2028, but fuel inflation and shutdown execution may delay benefits.
