Peria Karamalai Tea posted a Q2 FY26 net loss of about Rs 511.74 lakhs against a profit of about Rs 463.64 lakhs a year ago. Q2 revenue from operations fell roughly 36 percent to about Rs 1,057 lakhs. For the half year ended September 2025, profit after tax dropped sharply to about Rs 73 lakhs from about Rs 724 lakhs earlier. The Tea segment losses widened to about Rs 299 lakhs from about Rs 144 lakhs. Net cash from operating activities stayed negative.
Sharp revenue fall, swing to quarterly loss, weak cash generation likely to weigh on sentiment in this small-cap, thinly traded stock.
