On the reaction day the stock moved 1.1 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 0.9 pts less than its Heavy Electrical Equipment peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Thermax informs that the Bombay High Court has set aside the earlier Arbitral Award dated June 5, 2023 that was passed against the company in a dispute with a customer. This reverses an unfavorable ruling for Thermax. The company had previously intimated exchanges about this matter in June and October 2023. Further details will be submitted later as required by SEBI.
Positive for Thermax as the adverse award has been nullified, removing the financial liability from the arbitration.
