Docon Technologies, promoter of Thyrocare, fully released its pledge on 7,94,69,696 equity shares (51.02% of share capital) held in favour of Catalyst Trusteeship. The pledge backed NCDs worth INR 10,500 million issued by API Holdings (Docon's parent), which were fully redeemed on August 14, 2026. Docon's 51.02% stake in Thyrocare remains unchanged. No promoter shares are now encumbered.
All promoter shares are now unencumbered, removing pledge overhang risk. Margin call risk gone, potentially positive for stock.
