Promoter Docon Technologies has released the pledge on 1,75,00,000 equity shares (about 10.99 percent of capital) of Thyrocare Technologies, effective August 11, 2026. Post release, Docon's encumbered holding drops from 49.93 percent to 10.99 percent of capital. Docon continues to hold 60.92 percent in Thyrocare. Shares were earlier pledged as security for non-convertible debentures worth about 10,500 million rupees issued by API Holdings, Docon's holding company.
Reduced encumbrance on promoter holdings is positive — lowers risk of forced sale and signals improving debt position at API Holdings level.
