Timex Group India posted its Q1 FY26 results (quarter ended June 30, 2025) with revenue from operations of Rs. 16,894 lakhs, up 55% from Rs. 10,867 lakhs in the same quarter last year. Profit after tax jumped to Rs. 1,467 lakhs versus Rs. 243 lakhs in Q1 FY25, with EPS rising to Rs. 1.33 from Rs. 0.06. Total income stood at Rs. 16,925 lakhs against Rs. 10,919 lakhs a year ago, and operating margins expanded sharply as cost of materials and other expenses grew slower than revenue. The auditor (Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP) issued an unmodified review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter. There were no exceptional items and no segmental changes; the company continues to operate as a single watch-making and trading business.
A strong quarter — revenue and profits both grew sharply year-on-year with no negative auditor flags, which is a positive signal for shareholders. Watch margin sustainability and the unusually high cost-of-materials line will be worth tracking in coming quarters.
