Timken India reported its Q1 FY26 results on July 31, 2025. Revenue from operations rose about 3.2% year-on-year to Rs 8,088 million, while total income stood at Rs 8,188 million. Net profit after tax came in at Rs 1,042 million, up about 8.2% from Rs 963 million in Q1 FY25, helped by a one-time reversal of earlier tax provisions worth Rs 82.54 million. Profit before tax was nearly flat at Rs 1,304 million versus Rs 1,298 million last year, and EPS rose to Rs 13.86 from Rs 12.80. The limited review by statutory auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP was unmodified.
Topline growth was modest and underlying profits were largely flat, with the reported PAT bump driven mainly by a tax reversal rather than core operations. EBITDA margins dipped slightly year-on-year, suggesting margin pressure despite steady revenue.
