Avishkar Infra Realty Limited (formerly Joy Realty Limited) reported its Q1 FY26 results. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations was nil (vs Rs. 200 lakh in Q4 FY25), with other income of Rs. 46.48 lakh. Total expenses were Rs. 16.82 lakh, yielding a profit before tax of Rs. 29.65 lakh and PAT of Rs. 22.19 lakh (EPS Rs. 0.10). On a consolidated basis, including subsidiary Avishhar Keval Kunj Redevelopment Private Limited, the company swung to a loss — total expenses rose sharply to Rs. 90.19 lakh (driven by Rs. 250.13 lakh purchase of stock-in-trade and finance costs of Rs. 70.12 lakh), resulting in a loss before tax of Rs. 43.72 lakh and consolidated PAT of negative Rs. 51.17 lakh (EPS of negative Rs. 0.23). Statutory auditor SDP M & Co. issued an unmodified limited review report on both sets of results.
While standalone numbers remain marginally profitable, the consolidated loss and nil operating revenue suggest weak core activity this quarter; shareholders should watch for recovery in operating revenue and contain the rising finance costs in upcoming quarters.
