Tokyo Finance Ltd reported unaudited standalone results for Q2 FY26 and H1 FY26. Total income for the quarter was Rs. 20.59 lakhs versus Rs. 21.11 lakhs in Q1, and Rs. 41.96 lakhs for H1 FY26 versus Rs. 41.46 lakhs in H1 FY25 — essentially flat year-on-year. Profit after tax for H1 FY26 came in at Rs. 6.34 lakhs, a sharp drop of about 65% from Rs. 18.40 lakhs in H1 FY25, mainly due to a steep jump in other expenditure and employee costs. Basic EPS for H1 FY26 stood at Rs. 0.09 versus Rs. 0.27 in H1 FY25. The limited review report from U B G & Company is clean, with no qualifications. Net cash from operating activities was negative at Rs. 1.56 lakhs (though improved from a deeper outflow last year).
Despite stable top-line, profitability has sharply compressed with PAT nearly cut by two-thirds versus last year, signalling margin pressure from rising costs. Negative operating cash flow remains a concern though it has narrowed from the prior period. Minor-cap, illiquid stock — limited direct bearing on broad investor portfolios but reflects weak operational performance.
