Torrent Power reported standalone Q4 FY2026 revenue of ₹4,480 crore and full-year revenue of ₹21,850 crore, slightly lower than ₹21,912 crore in FY2025. Net profit after tax for FY2026 stood at ₹2,575 crore compared to ₹2,851 crore in the previous year, with EPS at ₹51.10 versus ₹58.41. The Board approved raising funds up to ₹10,000 crore via Non-Convertible Debentures through private placement and recommended a final dividend of ₹5 per share, taking the total dividend for FY2026 to ₹20 per share (including ₹15 interim dividend paid in March 2026). The company also announced re-appointment of two Independent Directors and confirmed full utilization of ₹2,000 crore NCD Series-14 raised in March 2026 with no deviations.
The NCD issuance program of up to ₹10,000 crore provides financial flexibility for growth initiatives including the proposed ₹3,660.87 crore acquisition of Nabha Power Limited. While profit declined year-on-year, healthy operating metrics including 7.98x interest coverage and 2.98x debt service coverage indicate adequate debt servicing capacity. Total dividend of ₹20 per share offers 3.9% yield at current prices.
