TFCI's Board approved its Q1 FY26 standalone results on August 4, 2025. Total income rose to Rs 6,581.95 lakh from Rs 6,184.11 lakh a year ago, a growth of about 6.4%. Profit After Tax jumped to Rs 3,055.89 lakh (Rs 3.30 per share) versus Rs 2,539.78 lakh (Rs 2.74 per share) in Q1 FY25, a 20.3% YoY rise, helped by an 8.6% increase in interest income and a 9.9% drop in finance costs. Asset quality improved sharply with Gross NPA falling to 0.24% (from 2.81%) and Net NPA turning nil. CRAR strengthened to 62.68% and Debt-Equity ratio improved to 0.71:1. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified limited review report.
Positive for shareholders: strong PAT growth, expanding margins, sharp improvement in NPAs, and a healthier capital position signal operational strength. However, the muted top-line growth (~6%) and absence of revenue acceleration may cap near-term stock excitement.
