Transindia Real Estate has received an Assessment Order from the Income Tax Authority under Section 143(3) read with Section 158BC(1)(c) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. This is a follow-up to the Income Tax Department's search proceedings that were disclosed earlier on February 12, 2025. The assessment covers the block period from April 1, 2018 to April 5, 2025. A tax demand of ₹3,12,000 has been raised, which the Company states has been duly paid. The order was received on April 28, 2026, and the Company has disclosed it under Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Regulations. The Company states there is no impact on operations and no material impact on financials.
The financial impact is minimal at ₹3.12 lakh, which has already been paid. However, the enforcement action signals regulatory scrutiny that could concern investors, especially since it originated from a search proceeding. The Company has downplayed the impact, but the tax authority's findings over a 7-year block period warrant monitoring.
