Transworld Shipping Lines (formerly Shreyas Shipping) reported Q2 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 9,809 lakhs, down about 21% YoY from Rs 12,472 lakhs. The company swung to a net loss of Rs 919 lakhs in Q2 from a profit of Rs 2,131 lakhs a year ago. H1 FY26 posted a net loss of Rs 1,696 lakhs versus a profit of Rs 2,328 lakhs. An insurance recovery of Rs 398 lakhs linked to the 2024 fire on vessel MV SSL Brahmaputra was booked as an exceptional item. Operating cash flow stayed positive at Rs 6,754 lakhs for H1. Board approved a final dividend of Rs 1.50 per share. Acquisition of two logistics firms is pending completion.
Weak quarter with revenue decline and swing to loss. Positive operating cash flow, insurance recovery and declared dividend offer some support. Watch for acquisition closure.
